The Jeep Renegade Sahara in Brazil has received a visual overhaul ahead of its next generation, adopting a hard‑plastic dashboard with a higher central console, a panoramic roof and upgraded digital instrument cluster. Under the hood, the 1.3‑liter turbocharged engine now operates as a mild‑hybrid (MHEV), delivering 176 hp and 27.5 kg·m of torque. While ergonomics and infotainment have improved—with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Alexa integration—the interior materials have been criticised for a rough feel and reduced perceived quality. The vehicle’s rear space remains tight, with a 320‑liter trunk.

Separately, Brazilian Jeep owners continue the informal “Jeep Ducking” practice, placing rubber ducks on dashboards as spontaneous compliments. Originating in Canada in 2020, the tradition has spread worldwide and involves leaving a clean, visible duck without obstructing the driver’s view. Collectors often display multiple ducks inside the vehicle, signalling a personal collection rather than any official ranking. The custom emphasizes goodwill among Jeep enthusiasts while advising respectful placement to avoid damage or distraction.
