Jeep rolls out updated Renegade SUV in Argentina and Chile

Jeep has introduced a refreshed Renegade compact SUV in Argentina and Chile. The update focuses on interior technology and comfort, featuring a fully digital instrument panel, a 10.1‑inch touchscreen multimedia system, a 7‑inch digital gauge cluster and a redesigned central console with additional storage and rear‑seat air vents.

In Argentina the model arrives in four trims – Altitude, Night Eagle, Sahara and the Willys 4×4 – with price tags ranging from 46.34 million to 55.90 million pesos. All versions keep the 1.3‑litre turbo engine (175 hp, 270 Nm) paired with a six‑speed automatic, while the 4×4 Willys adds a nine‑speed gearbox. Safety and convenience equipment include six airbags, autonomous emergency braking, lane‑keep assist, fatigue detection, rear‑view camera and electronic parking brake.

Chile receives the Altitude and Sahara trims, also powered by the 1.3‑litre turbo and six‑speed automatic. New features there comprise dual‑zone digital climate control, wireless phone charging, key‑less entry and start, and upgraded interior finishes. Jeep’s brand manager in Chile highlighted the model’s regional success, noting more than 700,000 units sold to date, and said the refresh aims to meet evolving customer expectations for technology, connectivity and comfort while retaining the Renegade’s off‑road heritage.
