Jeżewo firefighters launch recycling drive for new off-road vehicle

Volunteer firefighters from OSP Jeżewo have launched a collection drive for plastic bottles and cans to fund a new off-road vehicle. The unit aims to collect 300,000 containers to raise approximately 150,000 PLN.

Kamil Skrobiszewski, president of the unit, noted that a light operational vehicle is essential for rapid movement and search operations in forested areas where larger trucks struggle to navigate. Additionally, a smaller vehicle would allow members of the youth fire brigade, who hold standard driver's licenses, to participate more actively in training and operations.
