OSP Żabce firefighting vehicle fundraising campaign

Overview

The OSP Żabce volunteer fire department is conducting a community-driven fundraising initiative known as ‘Operation 4 Million’. The campaign aims to collect four million bottles and cans to fund a new rescue and firefighting vehicle.

While the campaign has successfully collected over 145,000 containers to date, the initiative was recently disrupted by theft. Thieves targeted three collection points in Międzyrzec Podlaski, stealing collected materials in two instances and destroying a collection bin in a third. Local police are currently reviewing surveillance footage and evidence regarding the incidents.
