Jefferson Rojas and Jonah Tong named to ESPN top 100 prospects list

Jefferson Rojas and Jonah Tong have been included in ESPN’s latest update of the top 100 baseball prospects.

Jefferson Rojas is ranked at No. 40. Since being traded from the Chicago Cubs system to the New York Mets, Rojas has seen a significant performance increase, posting a .991 OPS in June. He is currently playing for Double-A Binghamton, where he maintains a season OPS above .800. ESPN categorized him within the “50 [grade] future value” tier.

Jonah Tong is ranked at No. 79, a drop from his previous position of No. 36. Tong has faced challenges finding consistency at the Triple-A level with Syracuse, recording a 5.15 ERA over 21 starts this season. While his ranking has declined across various scouting lists, he maintains a strong strikeout rate of 11.0 SO/9.
