Jeffrey Epstein victim testifies about abuse while on house arrest at Florida hearing
Former model Roza, recruited from Uzbekistan at age 18 by Jean‑Luc Brunel, testified before the U.S. House Oversight Committee in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 12‑13 2026. She said Epstein repeatedly raped her from 2009 to 2012 while serving house arrest after his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor. Roza recounted that Epstein used his connections, bragged about girls visiting his cell, and offered her a job at his science foundation to settle a $10,000 debt. She also charged the Department of Justice with exposing her identity when thousands of pages of “Epstein files” were released, leading to ongoing harassment. Other survivors, including Jena‑Lisa Jones and Maria Farmer, gave statements condemning the 2008 plea deal and the DOJ’s handling of the documents. The hearing, led by Rep. Robert Garcia (D‑CA), aimed to scrutinise the controversial 2008 agreement and seek accountability for the abuse that continued despite Epstein’s house arrest.
