Jeffrey Herlings leads Netherlands to Motocross of Nations podium

Jeffrey Herlings, riding for Honda HRC PETRONAS, secured a double victory at the 2026 Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France. His performance helped lead the Netherlands to a third-place podium finish. During the event, Herlings won his Open class race despite a mid-race error that saw him drop to eighth position, eventually recovering to win by a 12-second margin. His teammate, Tom Vialle, was forced to withdraw following a crash during the first race.

Following his success in France, Herlings is scheduled to compete in the final round of the Japan Motocross Championship at Sugo, Japan, on October 31 and November 1, 2026. This will mark the first time in his career that he has raced in Japan. The trip serves as an opportunity for the rider to connect with Honda engineers following a highly successful season that included winning 13 GPs and 22 motos.
