Jelenje-Dražice students complete traffic safety program

Approximately one hundred students at Jelenje-Dražice Elementary School participated in a traffic culture program designed to teach the basics of road safety through interactive play. The educational initiative, titled ‘Program prometne kulture za najmlađe’, utilized outdoor settings with pedestrian crossings and traffic signs to simulate real-world environments.

Izabela Linčić Mužić, head of the Administrative Department for Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, attended the event. She emphasized the importance of the County Council for Road Traffic Safety and noted that the program aims to expand from the Gorski Kotar region to include islands in the coming years. The initiative was organized in cooperation with the company Jumikar and involved participation from the fire department and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar Police Administration.
