Jember Fashion Carnaval 2026 to Highlight HEAL Theme and Drive Tourism

The Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) will be held from 24 – 26 July 2026 at Alun‑Alun Central Park in Jember, East Java. The event, part of the Karisma Event Nusantara calendar and fully supported by Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism, adopts the theme “HEAL: Humanity, Earth, and Life,” aiming to convey messages of environmental and social recovery through costumes, music and street performances.

Organisers have introduced a new colossal theatrical segment called “Dewi Bumi,” featuring the character Gaia and integrating modern visual technology, contemporary choreography and kinetic costume installations. Officials expect the three‑day festival to attract thousands of domestic and international visitors, strengthening Indonesia’s creative‑economy sector and its tourism profile on the global stage. Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said the carnival serves as a showcase of national creativity and a catalyst for local economic growth.
