Jen Shah completes federal sentence for telemarketing fraud

Jen Shah, a former star of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’, has officially completed her federal sentence following her involvement in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. Shah, 52, was sentenced in early 2023 to six and a half years in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

The scheme targeted hundreds of victims, many of whom were over the age of 55. Following a reduction in her sentence, Shah was released from prison in December 2025 and completed the remainder of her term under community confinement.

In statements to The Hollywood Reporter, Shah expressed a desire to move forward while accepting responsibility for her actions. “I made decisions that had serious consequences, and I accept those consequences,” she stated, adding that she intends to acknowledge her past without being defined solely by it.
