Jen Shah federal fraud sentence completion

Overview

Jen Shah, a former star of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’, is completing her federal sentence following a conviction for her role in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. Shah was originally sentenced to six and a half years after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in a scheme that targeted hundreds of victims, many over the age of 55.

After serving 33 months in prison and a period of home confinement, Shah officially completed her sentence in late August 2026. While she has served less than half of her original sentence, she remains required to pay up to $6.5 million in restitution to her victims.

Upon her release, Shah expressed a desire to move forward, stating, “I made decisions that had serious consequences, and I accept those consequences,” and noting her intention to acknowledge her past without being defined solely by it.
