Jennie’s ‘Less than a Lover’ video filmed in Girona, Spain

South Korean singer Jennie Kim of Blackpink released her solo single “Less than a Lover.” The accompanying music video was shot on July 7 in Girona’s Old Town and the nearby coastal village of Sa Tuna, showcasing Mediterranean summer scenery. The video, which features Taiwanese model Nah Kai, was published on July 24 and amassed over 11 million YouTube views within four days.

The release follows Jennie’s previous solo debut with the album Ruby and comes after Blackpink’s sold‑out concert at Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium, where the group attracted 50,000 fans. The new track blends indie‑pop, bedroom‑pop and bossa‑nova influences, and its lyrics explore a fleeting romantic relationship.
