Jennifer Coppen denies involvement in PT Divine Gold Jewelry fraud case

Public figures Jennifer Coppen and Kirana Larasati have denied involvement in a suspected gold and silver investment fraud involving PT Divine Gold Jewelry. The case has been reported to Bareskrim Polri, with legal counsel for the victims reporting 85 victims and total losses amounting to Rp 25 billion.

The company allegedly operated a pre-order scheme promising high returns and buy-back guarantees, but failed to fulfill orders or process fund withdrawals. The victims' lawyer, Bionda Johan Anggara, noted that social media promotions by celebrities were a key factor in driving consumer trust.

Jennifer Coppen clarified via social media that her role was strictly limited to that of a brand ambassador. She stated she had no involvement in the company's internal management, fund handling, or operational decisions, and asserted that she did not receive commissions from individual product sales. Coppen also noted that her contract with the company ended prematurely on June 19, 2026, following customer complaints regarding service and order fulfillment.
