Jeonbuk Province implements Chuseok holiday stability measures

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province has announced a comprehensive plan to ensure a safe and stable Chuseok holiday. The ‘2026 Chuseok Holiday Livelihood Stability Comprehensive Plan’ consists of 15 tasks across four key areas: regional economy and livelihood support, domestic vitality, safety response, and consumer protection.

To manage inflation, the province will operate a price stability situation room and monitor 19 major holiday items. Authorities will also inspect distribution environments to prevent price gouging and origin mislabeling. Additionally, the province will maintain a 24-hour emergency medical system at 20 medical institutions and one emergency facility.

In related regional developments, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education is conducting training for 400 school administrators and teachers to strengthen infectious disease prevention and response capabilities. Meanwhile, Jeonju City has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jeonbuk branch of the Financial Supervisory Service to prevent financial fraud and promote lifelong financial education for citizens.
