Jeremy Allen White wears Louis Vuitton Monterey watch in Paris

Actor Jeremy Allen White drew significant attention at the Paris premiere of ‘The Social Reckoning’ by wearing a Louis Vuitton Monterey watch. The timepiece, originally designed by Italian architect Gae Aulenti in 1988, has transitioned from an obscure archival piece to a highly sought-after luxury item.

The Monterey model, which marked Louis Vuitton’s first venture into watchmaking, saw a resurgence in popularity following viral social media content in 2023. This renewed interest led to the 2025 release of a limited yellow-gold re-edition, of which only 188 pieces were produced. Following this limited release, Louis Vuitton has integrated the Monterey into its permanent collection with two new ceramic models inspired by the original Monterey II design.
