Jeremy Clarkson announces new automotive special and car sale
Jeremy Clarkson has announced a new standalone special for Prime Video titled “Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special,” scheduled for release in 2027. The project, filmed at his Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire, involves Clarkson attempting to build a car using materials produced on his land. A key component of the project is a flax-based composite intended as a sustainable alternative to carbon fiber.
The production will feature Jaguar F-Type S as a starting point and will include designer Ian Callum CBE. This new venture marks a return to automotive storytelling similar to his previous work on “The Grand Tour.”
In conjunction with these new projects, Clarkson is selling three of his classic cars through Iconic Auctioneers: a 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider, a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6, and a 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V. Clarkson stated he is selling the vehicles because he no longer has frequent opportunities to drive them.
