Jerez celebrates food culture with experiential awards and new sushi hotspot

Jerez will host the third edition of the Premios Comunicación Experiencial de Alimentos y Bebidas on 23 September at the Museo Palacio del Tiempo. The ceremony, organized by the Juntos con la Hostelería consortium (Hostelería de España, FIAB and AECOC), recognises food‑and‑drink communication campaigns that create memorable experiences. The event is part of the Jerez Capital Española de la Gastronomía programme and aims to boost the city’s culinary brand.

At the same time, the city’s sushi scene expands with the opening of Miss Sushi, a Japanese‑fusion restaurant located at P.º la Rosaleda 2 in Jerez de la Frontera. The venue features bright pink neon décor, an outdoor terrace and a menu that blends fresh ingredients with author‑driven recipes, targeting diners looking for a vibrant, Instagram‑friendly experience.
