Jeriah Mast pleads guilty to child exploitation crimes in Haiti

Jeriah Mast, a 45-year-old resident of Millersburg, Ohio, has entered a guilty plea to two counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with minors in Haiti. Federal prosecutors stated that Mast traveled from the United States to Haiti on numerous occasions between 2002 and 2019 to commit these crimes.

During his travels, Mast was associated with the religious organization Christian Aid Ministries (CAM). Investigators obtained flight records indicating that Mast took more than 30 flights from the United States to Haiti between November 2002 and August 2018.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Cleveland, with assistance from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office. Federal authorities emphasized that U.S. citizens will be held accountable for the exploitation of children even when the crimes occur abroad. Mast is scheduled to be sentenced on December 15, 2026.
