They reported $8.4 billion in visitor spending last year, an increase in overnight stays, and a 14 % rise in total gross gaming revenue driven by internet gambling. Panelists noted that Atlantic City casinos are seeing record online betting activity and that upcoming events such as FIFA World Cup‑related activities, concerts and the Atlantic City Air Show are expected to boost attendance.

Separately, Toms River officials reinstated a temporary summer curfew for minors on the borough’s barrier island, effective from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day 2026. The rule bars anyone under 18 from being out between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. except for approved reasons such as parental accompaniment, work, emergencies or religious activities. Authorities say the curfew aims to reduce late‑night disturbances, vandalism and unsafe behavior during the busiest tourist months.
