A three-year-old girl from Jesi has died after spending six days in pediatric intensive care at the Salesi Hospital in Ancona. The child had suffered from choking after ingesting a grape during the San Settimio Fair on September 23.
Following the incident, which caused cardiac arrest, the child received emergency medical intervention from bystanders and the Red Cross before being transferred via helicopter to the Salesi Hospital. Despite intensive medical efforts, her condition remained critical until her death was confirmed on the evening of September 29.
