Several judicial proceedings are underway across Mexico involving homicide and illegal weapons charges. In Sinaloa, Jesús Abraham “N”, known as “El Talibán,” was linked to a process for possessing firearms of exclusive military use. He was detained in Mazatlán with a rifle, 180 cartridges, and six magazines. He is also suspected of involvement in the kidnapping and murder of 10 miners in Concordia.
In Sonora, Francisco Javier “N” has been charged with qualified homicide following the November 2025 shooting of Rey David “N” in Cócorit, Cajeme. The prosecutor alleges the attack was premeditated and carried out with treachery.
In the State of Mexico, Luis Gustavo “N” (alias “El Rayón”) and Carlos Adán “N” (alias “El Papayo”) were linked to a process for the murder of two men in Otumba. Authorities identified them as members of a criminal group involved in narcotics, vehicle theft, and fuel theft.
Other recent legal actions include the indictment of Jesús Ubaldo “N” for the killing of a commander in La Paz, Baja California Sur, and the processing of two individuals in Calotmul, Yucatán, for attacking a police officer with a knife and possessing methamphetamines.
