RTVE announces presenter changes for Mañaneros 360

RTVE is implementing significant changes to its morning programming following the departure of journalist Javier Ruiz from ‘Mañaneros 360’. Ruiz is set to join the team of La Séptima, a new digital terrestrial television (TDT) channel scheduled to begin broadcasting on November 5.

Jesús Cintora will officially join the ‘Mañaneros 360’ team on August 24, taking over the political news segment. He will work alongside presenters Adela González and Miriam Moreno. As part of this transition, Cintora will step away from the daily edition of ‘Malas lenguas’, though he will continue to host the weekly Saturday night version, ‘Malas lenguas: Noche’, on La 2.

The shifts in personnel come as RTVE continues a strategy focused on current affairs and combating disinformation, a period that has seen both high viewership and political scrutiny for its news presenters.
