Jesse & Joy announce hiatus after two decades of music

The Mexican musical duo Jesse & Joy has announced a hiatus following more than two decades of success. Jesse Huerta shared the decision through an open letter and social media, stating the need to prioritize his mental and emotional health, as well as his family and personal well-being.

Huerta expressed that the decision was made from a place of love and a need to live at a different pace. He also shared his gratitude for his sister, Joy Huerta, and their long-standing connection with their audience.

Despite the announcement, the duo will fulfill all currently scheduled commitments. The ‘El Despecho’ international tour will continue through November, including dates in South America and a scheduled conclusion in London, England, in late 2024.
