JetBlue partners with NYC restaurants for JFK Terminal 5 revamp and Mint cabin menus

Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport is being transformed in a multimillion‑dollar refresh that will add more than 40 new shops and restaurants. New openings include Eataly, Nom Wah, The Halal Guys, Leon’s Bagels, Jacob’s Pickles, Melt Shop, Dunkin’ and Shake Shack, along with a Central Node Park inspired by New York’s boroughs. “At Terminal 5, we are creating more than an airport experience. We are creating a place that reflects the spirit of New York,” said Jose Cuevas, vice president of Fraport New York.

JetBlue is also introducing new Mint cabin menus developed with New York City restaurants Crown Shy and Birdee. The onboard offerings feature dishes such as citrus‑marinated chicken, pork katsu, razor clam chowder and a strawberries‑and‑cream croissant, with vegetarian, gluten‑free, dairy‑free and nut‑free options. “The best part of any new Mint menu is seeing it come to life onboard,” said Stephanie Evans Greene, senior VP of Marketing and Brand at JetBlue. Additional dining concepts from Red Hook Tavern and Hometown Bar‑B‑Que are slated for early 2027.
