JetBlue unveils BlueFirst domestic first-class service

JetBlue has announced the launch of BlueFirst, a new domestic first-class product scheduled to roll out this fall. The service features a two-by-two cabin configuration with Tuft & Needle foam seating, 13.3-inch seatback screens, and an interactive cocktail-building mode. Passengers will receive five inches of recline, seven extra inches of legroom compared to the Main cabin, and free high-speed Fly-Fi. The service also introduces FirstFare bento-box style meals and premium beverage options.

In addition to the new cabin service, JetBlue continues to expand its lounge presence. The airline’s BlueHouse lounge, which opened in Terminal 5 at JFK in late 2025, offers access to Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardmembers, and passengers traveling on eligible Mint fares. Other Mosaic tiers and JetBlue Plus or Business Card members may purchase access subject to availability.

While airline-specific lounges provide amenities like food and workspaces, they also offer a strategic advantage during travel disruptions by providing direct access to airline employees who can assist with itinerary changes during weather-related delays.
