Jetour SUV sales surge in Poland outpacing German market

Chinese automaker Jetour has seen strong demand for its off‑road models in Poland. After the successful launch of the Jetour T2, the importer tested a larger, frame‑based SUV, the G700, which features a plug‑in hybrid powertrain delivering over 900 hp and a ground clearance of 230 mm. Priced above 170 000 zł, the G700 attracted waiting lists of several months, prompting the importer to negotiate prices with dealers as new shipments arrive from China.

Polish car buyers are also favoring other Chinese and Japanese brands more than their German neighbours. In July 2026, Toyota sold 7,289 units in Poland compared with 6,054 in Germany, while Chinese marques such as Chery, JAC, Jaecoo and Omoda recorded markedly higher registrations in Poland than in Germany. Overall, plug‑in hybrid vehicle registrations in Poland rose 94 % in the first quarter of 2026, indicating growing consumer interest in high‑performance hybrid SUVs like the Jetour G700.
