Jharkhand government seeks agencies for livestock supply scheme

The Jharkhand government has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) to invite applications from agencies, NGOs, suppliers, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) for the supply of livestock under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana.

Selected agencies will be responsible for delivering animals and poultry to beneficiaries across all districts in the state. The initiative aims to increase the production of milk, meat, eggs, and wool while providing employment and income opportunities for rural residents.

Specific livestock units include Black Bengal goats, pigs, sheep, and various poultry options such as backyard layers, broilers, and ducks. Agencies must possess a PAN card, GST registration, a minimum annual turnover of 10 lakh rupees per district, and at least three years of relevant experience. The deadline for submitting applications is September 29, 2026.
