Overview
The Jharkhand government has introduced the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana, a scheme providing subsidies of up to 90 percent to encourage animal husbandry among rural residents, farmers, and unemployed youth. To implement the program, the government has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) to recruit agencies, NGOs, suppliers, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). These selected entities will be responsible for supplying livestock, such as Black Bengal goats and various poultry, to beneficiaries across all districts. Participating agencies must meet specific financial and experience requirements, including a minimum annual turnover of 10 lakh rupees per district and at least three years of relevant experience.
