Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule Opens for Registration

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the full schedule for the 2026 NEET UG counselling. Online registration for MBBS, BDS and related courses under the 85 % state quota runs from 7 August to 11 August 2026 (until 3 PM). The state merit list will be published on 12 August, and the first round of online counselling begins on 13 August.

Counselling will be conducted in four stages – Round 1, Round 2, a mop‑up round and a stray‑vacancy round – with later dates to be announced after Round 1. Candidates must have passed the NEET UG 2026 exam, be Indian citizens, residents of Jharkhand, and at least 17 years old by 31 December 2026. They must also have completed 12th grade with the required minimum marks (50 % for general/EWS, 40 % for reserved categories). A refundable security deposit is required at the time of registration.

The process includes online choice filling, seat allocation, download of allotment letters and on‑site document verification before admission to government or private medical and dental colleges in Jharkhand.
