Jhon Durán faces criticism after Fred's comments on training attitude
Brazilian midfielder Fred has made controversial remarks regarding Colombian striker Jhon Durán following their time together at Fenerbahçe. Speaking on the 'Charla Podcast', Fred described Durán as the 'craziest' teammate he has ever worked with.
Fred alleged that Durán exhibited a lack of professional commitment, claiming that when encouraged to attend training sessions, the striker would respond, 'I am already rich, I don't need to run.' Fred noted that while Durán is a great person, his attitude toward training became an issue during their time in Turkey.
Durán, who is currently on loan at Benfica from Al Nassr, has played for several clubs in a short period, including Zenit and Fenerbahçe. At Benfica, he has made 12 appearances and scored two goals, starting in only two of those matches.
