Jihlava and Banja Luka implement new parking regulations

Municipalities in Jihlava, Czech Republic, and Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, are implementing new parking regulations.

In Jihlava, starting in mid-September, drivers in orange and blue zones outside the city center will receive the first 30 minutes of parking free of charge once per 24-hour period. Additionally, seniors aged 65 and older will be eligible for an extra 200 hours of free parking. Rules in the city center remain unchanged.

In Banja Luka, parking fees have resumed following a legal hiatus. While the supplementary parking ticket has been abolished, penalties for non-payment remain, with municipal police issuing fines of 50 KM. New strict rules apply to vehicles with foreign license plates, which face wheel clamping; unlocking requires a 30 KM fee. Standard zone rates remain, with the first zone costing 2 KM per hour.
