Jim Ross returns home following hospital visit
Veteran wrestling commentator Jim Ross has returned home after a recent hospital stay. According to his “Grilling JR” co-host Conrad Thompson, Ross was treated for a chest infection that caused low oxygen levels.
Ross, 74, has recently undergone multiple medical procedures. In August, he had a shunt inserted to address memory and balance issues. Following a CT scan that revealed bleeding, he underwent a second brain procedure on October 7 to address issues with the shunt. While Ross is currently “on the mend,” Thompson noted that doctors have not yet reconnected the shunt.
Ross previously shared on social media that his recent hospitalization was due to low oxygen. His recent health history also includes battles with colon and skin cancer. He was last seen on an AEW broadcast during the Double or Nothing event in May.
