Jim Ross targets AEW All Out return following brain surgery
Veteran commentator Jim Ross is targeting a return to the AEW commentary desk for the All Out event on September 26. Ross is currently recovering from brain surgery performed on August 12 to remove excess fluid via a shunt procedure.
His recovery has been complicated by an additional injury; Ross revealed he broke two toes on his left foot on the morning of his brain surgery. He is currently using a walking boot, which has impacted his balance and mobility. Due to these concerns, doctors previously advised him against traveling to London for the AEW All In event.
Ross expressed high praise for the AEW All In production, calling it the best pay-per-view or television broadcast in the company’s history. He noted that the shorter travel distance from Oklahoma City to Chicago for All Out makes a potential return more manageable.
