Jim Ross Undergoes Neurological Tests for Dementia and Alzheimer’s

Veteran wrestling commentator Jim Ross, 74, disclosed that he has been seeing a neurologist for a series of tests aimed at detecting dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. During a recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast, Ross said doctors took blood samples and ran several precautionary exams. He described the appointment as “very positive” and emphasized that, despite the investigations, he feels “physically great” and is staying proactive about his health.

Ross also mentioned upcoming professional commitments, noting his travel to New York City to call AEW’s Double or Nothing pay‑per‑view and his continued role on AEW Dynamite commentary. He referenced Mick Foley’s pending AEW debut and reflected on a recent Detroit meet‑and‑greet with Jerry Lawler, calling it the largest turnout he and Lawler have ever had together.
