Jimbee Cartagena draws 2-2 with FC Barcelona in Liga Prime Futsal

Jimbee Cartagena secured a 2-2 draw against FC Barcelona in the third round of the Liga Prime Futsal opening tournament. Adolfo opened the scoring for Barcelona in the second minute, but Tomaz equalized for Cartagena in the eighth minute. Sergio González later put Barcelona ahead 2-1, before Tomaz completed his brace in the 19th minute to level the match before halftime.

Despite playing with ten men for a portion of the match following Adri Rubio's red card, Cartagena held on for the point, aided by a standout performance from goalkeeper Chispi. The result causes Barcelona to lose their position at the top of the league standings to Palma Futsal.

Barcelona also faces roster challenges as Brazilian winger Matheus sustained a knee injury early in the match and is awaiting further tests. This loss follows the recent absence of teammate Pito, who is sidelined for three weeks due to a muscle injury.
