Jimbee Cartagena Liga Prime Futsal performance

Jimbee Cartagena has faced challenging results and mounting injury concerns during the Liga Prime Futsal Apertura Tournament.

In the third round, the team secured a 2-2 draw against FC Barcelona. Despite playing with ten men for part of the match following a red card to Adri Rubio, Cartagena maintained the scoreline, supported by goalkeeper Chispi.

However, the team’s performance declined in the fourth round, where they suffered an 8-1 defeat against Manzanares FS at the Manzanares Arena. Manzanares took early control with goals from Gabriel David and Khalid Bouzid. While Dani Ruano scored a consolation goal for Jimbee, the second half saw Manzanares extend their lead through Leandrinho, Gabriel David, Javi Alonso, and Pablo.

This loss was accompanied by further physical setbacks for the squad. In addition to existing absences including Renato Lopes, Juninho, and Waltinho, the team dealt with new injuries to goalkeeper Chispi, who was forced to leave the match early and was replaced by Chemi, and Pablo Ramírez, who withdrew at the start of the second half due to a right foot injury.
