JO MALONE LONDON launches Harajuku pop‑up, featuring Japanese celebrities

The British fragrance brand JO MALONE LONDON opened a "Sea Salt Adventure" pop‑up in Harajuku’s Yodobashi J6 building from 6 to 9 August. The event, themed around the Cornwall coast, offered free entry by reservation and showcased new scents such as “Sea Salt & Bergamot” and “Wood Sage & Sea Salt”. Visitors could test fragrances, play scent‑themed games, and view a large “Sea Monster” sculpture.

Japanese celebrities attended the press session and the opening, including actors Yamada Ryosuke, Miura Shohei, model Anna Nakamura, former Nogizaka 46 member Umezawa Minami, and others such as Alice Hirose. Yamada described the new scent as “perfect for summer, capturing the sea’s power and citrus freshness,” adding that he imagined watching the sunset while “relaxing with nothing on his mind.” The pop‑up also distributed themed fans and offered limited‑edition items.
