Joaquín Levinton presents chat logs to contest sexual abuse allegations

Joaquín Levinton, leader of the band Turf, has presented chat logs to the judiciary to defend himself against sexual abuse allegations made by a woman named Paula. The messages, which were shared by journalist Maru Leone, reportedly show the complainant attempting to contact Levinton via Instagram and suggesting she would try to “help” with her testimony in a private, clandestine manner. Levinton has denied the accusations, stating the woman was never his partner and has been harassing him for years.

The original 2023 complaint alleged that during an informal relationship between 2015 and 2020, the complainant was forced to consume drugs and engage in non-consensual sexual acts. However, the case was previously archived because the complainant failed to appear to ratify the charges.

Fellow entertainer Abel Pintos has addressed the situation, choosing to remain silent on the specifics while describing the matter as “delicate.” He noted that while he has a professional relationship with Levinton through the program ‘Es mi sueño,’ he believes the legal process should take its course.
