Joe Gacy blames WWE for stifling Wyatt Sicks' creative development
Former Wyatt Sicks member Joe Gacy said the faction’s decline began when WWE failed to allow individual character growth. He explained that the focus on leader Bo Dallas (Taylor Rotunda) left other members with limited screen time and promotional material, noting, “I think, in my opinion, it’s because they didn’t really allow us to develop individually.”
Gacy added that the group regularly pitched new ideas to WWE writers, but “nothing ever happened” and many proposals were ignored. He described a growing frustration, saying the weekly creative efforts “were met with a ‘yeah, that sounds cool’ and then that was it.” The faction was released by WWE in April, after which Gacy returned to the independent circuit in July.
He also mentioned a health issue that sidelined Dallas, which paused the group’s momentum, and expressed that the eventual release felt like a relief after months of creative exhaustion.
