WWE Wyatt Sicks faction dispute

Overview

Former WWE talent Joe Gacy has spoken publicly about the behind‑the‑scenes handling of the Wyatt Sicks faction. In late July 2026 he recounted early backstage discussions about a potential collaboration with Bray Wyatt in NXT, noting that he was approached by WWE development staff who said Wyatt held him in high regard. Gacy blamed the group’s decline on WWE’s loss of confidence after leader Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) became unavailable, and said that individual promos for members were filmed but never aired, leaving the faction without distinct personalities and leading to all members being released in April 2024.

A week later, Gacy expanded on the creative frustrations, stating that WWE’s focus on Dallas limited screen time for other members and that numerous ideas pitched to writers were ignored. He highlighted a health issue that sidelined Dallas, further stalling momentum, and described the eventual release as a relief. Following the April release, Gacy returned to the independent circuit in July 2026.
