Joe Gacy Reveals WWE's Handling of Wyatt Sicks Faction

Former WWE talent Joe Gacy explained that, before joining the Wyatt Sicks group, there were backstage talks about a possible collaboration with Bray Wyatt in NXT. He said he received “rumors” and was later contacted by WWE development staff who told him that Wyatt had a high opinion of him and wanted to work together.

Gacy also said the faction’s decline was tied to WWE’s loss of confidence after Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) became unavailable. According to him, individual promos for members such as Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Rowan and himself were filmed but never aired, leaving the group without distinct personalities. He believes this lack of character development caused the Wyatt Sicks to fade and ultimately led to all members being released by WWE in April 2024.
