Joheirry Mola returns to Dominican Republic as Miss World 2026
Joheirry Mola, the newly crowned Miss World 2026, has returned to the Dominican Republic following her victory in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She arrived at Las Américas International Airport (AILA) on Saturday, where she was met by crowds of supporters and received a formal protocol welcome by officials from the Airport Department and the Specialized Body for Airport and Civil Aviation Security (CESAC).
Mola is the second Dominican woman to win the Miss World title, marking the first time the country has achieved this feat in 44 years. To celebrate her achievement, a public event titled ‘La corona vuelve a casa: El Concierto’ is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at the Faro a Colón. The free concert, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and produced by Caribbean Media World, will feature musical performances by artists including Ebenezer Guerra, Sexappeal, Aramis Camilo, La Perversa, and Rafely Rosario.
As part of the festivities, Mola will participate in a parade on a specially designed float. The celebrations are being coordinated by Diana Victoria Mota, director of Miss World Dominican Republic, and will be broadcast via the Miss World Dominican Republic YouTube channel and Telesistema.
