Joint Forces destroy 49 RSF vehicles and capture 70 members in Sudan

The Joint Forces, operating in coordination with the Sudanese Armed Forces, announced the destruction of 49 combat vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) during clashes in the Desert Axis. According to spokesperson Mutawakel Ali Wakil, the operation targeted a moving RSF convoy, resulting in the capture of 70 RSF members and the seizure of 30 functional vehicles, a fuel truck, and several drone batteries.

The military engagement resulted in the deaths of four Joint Forces members. While the RSF has not issued an immediate comment, the fighting continues across various regions, including the Kordofan states and Darfur.

Parallel to the military developments, humanitarian agencies are warning of a worsening crisis. In Blue Nile State, displaced persons are facing critical shortages of food, water, and medical supplies, with reports of cholera outbreaks in overcrowded camps. Medical professionals have also noted that several healthcare facilities in the region have been targeted or converted into military barracks.
