Joint Police and Igboho Security Team Frees Kidnapped Oyo Mother and Child in Kwara
A three‑day operation by the Nigeria Police Force’s Intelligence Response Team and the private security outfit led by Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho rescued Adijat Kubura Aliqlas and her son Abdulmalik, who had been abducted in Igbope, Oorelope LGA of Oyo State. After tracking the kidnappers to Bode Sadu near Jebba in Kwara State, the forces used a ransom lure and engaged the abductors in a gunbattle before locating the victims, who were taken to Igboho General Hospital for medical care. The rescue was coordinated with the Inspector‑General of Police and involved ASP Amos Ajegoke and other officers. Igboho praised the collaboration and reiterated his commitment to protecting lives and property in Oke‑Ogun and Oyo State.
