PSI leaders meet Joko Widodo to discuss 2029 election preparations

Representatives from the Bandar Lampung branch of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) met with former President Joko Widodo in Solo, Central Java, on September 24, 2026. Led by DPD Chairman Randy Aditya GG, the delegation visited Widodo’s residence to express appreciation for the party’s organizational development from the district to the village levels.

During a private thirty-minute meeting, Widodo provided guidance regarding PSI’s preparations for the 2029 General Election. He advised the leadership to focus not only on building organizational structures but also on ensuring the party’s presence is felt by the community through positive social activities and by providing spaces for citizens to voice their concerns.

In a separate event in Jakarta on September 27, 2026, PSI General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep attended a screening of the film ‘Istimewa’ at Grand Indonesia. The event, organized by the PSI Central Executive Board, featured children with disabilities and was attended by party officials including Grace Natalie and Isyana Bagoes Oka.
