Jon Ossoff leads Mike Collins in Georgia 2026 Senate poll

A Fox News poll released on Wednesday shows Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff holding a double‑digit advantage over Republican challenger Mike Collins in the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Georgia. The survey finds Ossoff with 56% support among registered voters compared with 43% for Collins.

Ossoff’s backing is strongest among Black voters (87%), adults under 30 (68%), independents (68%) and women under 45 (66%). Collins performs best with white evangelical Christians (79%), white men without a college degree (65%) and rural voters (55%). About half of gun‑owner households (53%) and veterans (50%) favor Collins. Voter motivation is high, with 82% saying they will vote; Ossoff leads the motivated voters 55%‑44%.

Inflation is the top issue influencing the Senate vote (40% of respondents), followed by health care, political division, immigration and jobs. Ossoff enjoys sizable leads among voters most concerned about inflation (+21 points), health care (+40) and political division (+18), while Collins leads on immigration (+45). Former President Donald Trump endorsed Collins in the Republican primary runoff, but his favorability in Georgia has slipped to 42%.

The poll suggests the race could become more competitive, noting Collins must convince both Republicans and independents that he and Trump can improve affordability for average Georgians.
