Pernambuco: João Campos ahead for governor, Marília Arraes leads Senate race

Real Time Big Data surveys show PSB candidate João Campos leading the 2026 Pernambuco gubernatorial contest. In a first‑round simulation he holds 45 % of voter intent against incumbent PSD governor Raquel Lyra’s 40 %; a simulated runoff gives Campos 46 % versus Lyra’s 41 %. The poll surveyed 1,600 respondents with a ±2 point margin of error. Around the same time, Campos signed up more than 100 union leaders to the PSB, emphasizing labor support for his campaign.

A separate Real Time Big Data poll ranks PDT’s Marília Arraes as the front‑runner for one of Pernambuco’s two Senate seats, garnering 26‑28 % across three scenarios, ahead of candidates such as Humberto Costa (PT) and Miguel Coelho (União Brasil). The Senate survey also covered 1,600 voters with similar statistical parameters.
