João Campos slams Pernambuco state government and wins court decision on MBL satire post

Pre‑candidate for governor João Campos (PSB) criticized the Pernambuco state administration during the inauguration of a new family health unit in Abreu do Lima, saying the state has closed hospitals and reduced beds while municipal leaders continue to deliver services. He pledged further health announcements in Garanhuns and Vitória de Santo Antão, tying future projects to local capacity and federal partnership.

Separately, the Pernambuco Electoral Justice rejected a PSB request to remove a social‑media post by the MBL that portrayed Campos as drunk at a June festival. The judge ruled the content was satirical, lacking any objective fact of intoxication, and therefore protected by freedom of expression.
