João Pessoa implements holiday programming and security measures

The City of João Pessoa has implemented several municipal initiatives for the Children's Day holiday. The local government has organized special programming at public parks, including the Arruda Câmara Zoobotanical Park and Estação Cabo Branco, featuring cultural presentations, magic shows, and educational activities. To support these public gatherings, the Municipal Civil Guard is conducting 'Operação Parque Seguro' to increase preventive patrolling and security in high-traffic leisure areas.

Regarding public health, mobile vaccination points will be suspended on Monday, October 12, due to the national holiday of Our Lady of Aparecida, to allow teams to organize biological stocks. Services will resume on Tuesday. Additionally, the city is highlighting its digital transformation efforts through the Municipal Information Technology Unit (UMTI) and its commitment to accessibility for people with disabilities. The administration also recently inaugurated the Ninho do Saber daycare center to expand early childhood services.
