João Pessoa City Hall provides health and social services to local communities

The City Hall of João Pessoa has implemented mobile service initiatives to provide health and social assistance to local communities. In the Porto do Capim neighborhood, a partnership between several municipal secretariats provided medical care, vaccinations, dental evaluations, and social program updates to over 100 residents.

This action is part of a broader revitalization project for Porto do Capim, conducted in partnership with the Federal Government through the Ministry of Cities' ‘Programa Periferia Viva’. The project aims to benefit approximately 580 families with infrastructure improvements to revitalize the historic center.

Additionally, the ‘Caravana do Cuidar’ initiative was held in the Castelo Branco neighborhood. This program brought various free services directly to residents, recording 277 total services including dental care, CadÚnico updates, and SUS card issuance.
